If we have to discuss the fireworks ban next year again, I swear I will shoot myself in the face. It is beyond me that gadzillions of Euros have been spent yet again on this crap, and another gadzillion on fighting / amending the consequences of bellends playing with that crap. My contribution to the brainstorming session: make every single person arriving at the ER stations with hands/arms/eyes blown off, pay for their medical treatment. Full price. And a couple of hundreds of quid extra: as „Darwin-Penalty“ (a foreroom to the Darwin-Awards hall of fame).
Always impressed by the RapidCleanupTeams - they really are amazing (and perhaps costly). It is interesting to see which spots still have yet to be cleansed - there aren't many, but in the MoaBit I notice a few bufnt-out boxes on sidestreets.
Not sure when, about say three years ago, I was walking near where Potsdamer & Hauptstr. change identities, and some youths were aiming then shooting bottle rockets cross the wide street. A couple almost hit me as well as all ranges of passers-by. It was the 30th or so, not even NYE, and it was kinda-shocking.. guess it was mere geometry practice for the current gen.
