> the only in the world to have three opera houses
That is simply not true.
Moscow for instance has 4 opera houses (with their own buildings, permanent troupes and original productions). Several years ago there are used to be 5.
You know, I read that on Berlin's own web site and thought: Can that really be true? But then wasn't sure how to vett it and you're right, I should have dug deeper. Thanks for keeping us honest.
I wonder how many people will switch from the Deutschland ticket to the Berlin ticket.
As for the financial cost of LG demonstrations, don't worry :) Take a deep breath and remind yourself that 800.000 people die of pollution in Europe every year, and that millions more will die if we keep going as usual.
I'm all about Letzte Generation. Maurice may not like them blocking the marathon but I loved how news coverage made the marathon all about them. And I was going to comment about the odd conflict between the Deutschland ticket and the €29 ticket...
I think it was €2.10 when I first arrived. A Kurzstrecke was practically free. Now it makes almost no sense to ever get one. Dogs are Mitfahrer, but bikes not ... Robbing Peter to pay Paul, as they say. But at least the two-hour rule still stands (I think?).
I was just there for the first time and we must have been in different tents. First we had truly innocent sober fun watching communities of people try not to spin off of the 'devil's wheel' apparently a ride for 120 years or so and we watched over an hour, then we went to the Paulaner tent and people danced sang and drank but I saw no toxic behaviour at all, it was just fun, and I got a unicorn. Seen people WAY drunker in Scotland... And there was some ethnic diversity, though mostly Asian.

Saint Petersburg has 3.

Sorry I misunderstood you... listing costs is typically what pearl clutching LG critics do.
Yeah, I mean I've had the idea of crossing Germany on regional trains, but haven't done it yet. Maybe I'll switch myself.
Didn’t ticket prices just go up?
I think I can remember when it was just €2.70 to ride and that was for two hours in any direction...

I find it hard to grasp the mentioning of “inclusivity” while calling Bavarian or German traditional clothing (goofy).
OK, Boomer!
